Keeley Rudd, Chief Executive
Following an early career in medical and healthcare sales and marketing running a UK and Ireland diabetes company, Keeley and her family settled in Somerset over 20 years ago. Having dabbled in property development she became very involved in her local community, working with a grassroots charity which resulted in the setup of a community shop in 2006 which is still going strong. She joined CCS in August 2010 and was appointed CEO in January 2016. She is exceptionally proud to work with such a dedicated team and is passionate about all that Somerset has to offer.
In rare moments of spare time, Keeley enjoys the company of good friends with good local food and drink and attempting to keep fit whilst out in our glorious countryside.
Raj Singh, Deputy Chief Executive
Raj worked in information and advice services for 10 years, helping individuals and communities access support when they most needed it. In the last 5 years, in his current role at CCS, Raj has worked closely with health and social care around new models of care. This has led to the creation of a successful Village and Community Agents’ service that serves the needs of the Somerset population.
In his spare time, Raj enjoys being outdoors and enjoying the Somerset countryside.
Jane Birch, Smart Communities Manager
Jane has worked in the social enterprise and the wider voluntary sector for 20 or so years in Somerset and elsewhere.She enjoys enabling individuals and groups to turn their idea into a successful reality to make a difference to their community. Jane is the manager of the Smart Communities team, which is a real privilege as the team has such great skill and experience to offer.
Outside of work, Jane loves making the most of the beautiful countryside, walking, cycling, and kayaking and she loves cooking for family and friends.
Caroline Harding, Agent Manager
Caroline Harding has been working at CCS since 2012, working as a Village Agent on Exmoor before piloting the role of Community Agent with Adult Social Care in Somerset.Prior to joining CCS, Caroline was involved in the supply and overhaul of aero engines to major airlines.
Caroline spends her spare time farming sheep and dairy goats on Exmoor and exploring the glorious Somerset countryside with her dogs.
