Join our Dragon Egg hunt 1st – 9th of March.

Maps for the egg hunt will be available from The Guildhall from 1st of March and on 2nd of March at the Chard Together market stall.

Fantastical Dragon Creation Competition

The theme is to create a dragon that represents something that is important to you, such as your family, home, town, environment or a feeling like courage or love.

All entries:

  • any child from age 5 – 18 can submit to the dragon creation competition.
  • can be in any medium, including sculpture and computer generated art, but no AI.
  • will be judged by the judged by the Lord Lieutenant of Somerset and Mayor of Chard .
  • must be handed in to the Guildhall no later than the 5th of March, with the Child’s name, age and a contact number attached.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with art work displayed on the 9th in the Guildhall.

Decorate a mask for a FREE chocolate egg!

Children that attending can download & decorate a mask and wear it to receive a small chocolate egg!
