Trustee Liabilities for Community Buildings
Tuesday, September 14th
10 am – 12 pm
Examining the liability of trustees and committee members, how it can be limited, managing the risk and what to do if things go wrong. We will also look at Health & Safety legislation that apply to community buildings.

10 am – 12 pm
This session offers an introduction to safeguarding for designated safeguarding leads, in order to help hall managers fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities. It will examine the types and signs of abuse, and consider appropriate policies and procedures that hall committees can put in place. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.

Get creative with Community Fundraising
Thursday, 21st October
10am – 12.30 pm
Venue: Holford and District Village Hall
This workshop will focus on community fundraising with presentations from the CCS team and Bishops Hull Hub. The event is free and we would love you to join us if you are able. (The session will also be live-streamed for anyone unable to attend).
